We check hotel prices several times a day, keep the history, and tell you when a rate drops below what you paid. Free, and you don't need an account to look.
Live figures from our own database, refreshed when this page is served — not marketing round numbers.
Hotel rooms are priced the way airline seats are. The rate you see is set by software that reacts to how full the hotel is, what the place next door is charging, and how the month is tracking against target. It moves without warning, in both directions, and nobody emails you when it does.
That creates a gap. The price you booked at is rarely the best price that room will ever be — and if you booked something with free cancellation, a drop is money you're entitled to go back for. But catching it means checking the same room, on the same dates, over and over, for weeks. Nobody does that. So the drop happens, and the hotel keeps the difference.
A price tracker is just the thing that does the checking for you. That's the whole idea.
These are real hotels in our database, with the cheapest and dearest month we currently hold for each. Same hotel, same room type, same two adults — the only thing changing is when you go.

Figures are typical nightly rates built from hundreds of individual scans per hotel, so a single freak rate can't set the number. Every one of these has a page with the full month-by-month history behind it.
Three steps, and only the first one needs you.
Hotel name, your dates, and what you paid if you've already booked. Takes about a minute. Email address only — no password, no account to create.
We re-check that room across Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda and others several times a day, and record every price we see.
If the rate drops below what you paid, you get an email with the new price and a link — and again only if it sets a further new low. If it never drops, we never write. No digest, no newsletter.
This is the one that puts money back. Book something with free cancellation, register it here, and carry on with your life. If the price falls before your cancellation window closes, we tell you, you rebook at the lower rate and cancel the old one.
We factor the cancellation fee in before flagging anything, so we won't send you chasing a £20 drop that costs £50 to claim.
Then the history is the useful part. Every hotel and destination we track has a page showing what it typically costs month by month, which month is cheapest, and how far in advance the good rates tend to appear.
Shifting a trip by a fortnight is often worth more than any discount code you'll find.
Worth understanding, because it tells you when tracking pays off most.
None of this is visible from a booking page. It only shows up if something records the price every few hours and keeps the history, which is what the numbers further up this page are.
Worth being straight about, because plenty of things in this category are not.
We earn a commission if you rebook through one of our links. That's the entire business model, and it only pays when you've saved money first.
It is a tool that re-checks a hotel room’s price for you and records what it sees. Hotel rates change constantly, so the price you were quoted on a Tuesday is often not the price on the Friday. A tracker keeps checking, keeps the history, and tells you when the rate moves in your favour.
If you booked a rate with free cancellation, you can usually rebook at the lower price and cancel the original — you keep the difference. That is the main thing this tool is for: we watch your booking and email you if the rate falls below what you paid, with the cancellation fee already accounted for so we only flag a genuine net saving.
Yes, and there is no paid tier. We earn a commission if you rebook through one of our links, which means we only make anything after you have saved money. You do not need to create an account or enter card details to track a price.
Several times a day for tracked bookings. Across the wider database we record millions of individual prices, which is what lets the destination and hotel pages show a real month-by-month history rather than a single snapshot.
Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda and several others, plus direct rates where we can read them. We compare like for like — same room, same dates, same board basis — because a cheaper headline rate that drops breakfast is not a saving.
It works when two things are true: your booking is cancellable, and there is time left before check-in for the rate to move. It does nothing for a non-refundable rate booked the night before. Plenty of bookings never drop at all — the value is that catching the ones that do costs you nothing but a minute of setup.
Yes. If you have not booked, the price history is the more useful part — every hotel and destination we cover has a page showing what it typically costs each month and which month tends to be cheapest, so you can move your dates rather than chase a discount.
Every one of these has live typical rates and a month-by-month history.
Add a hotel, or a booking you've already made, and we'll watch the rate for you. Free, and no account to set up.
