HotelMonitor is a free price monitoring service. You submit details of an existing hotel booking and we periodically check the price of that hotel across third-party booking platforms. If we find a rate low enough to save you money after your cancellation fee, we send you an email alert with a link to rebook.
The service is provided free of charge to users. We fund it by earning affiliate commissions when users rebook through our links. You are under no obligation to use our links.
You must be at least 18 years old to use HotelMonitor. By submitting a booking you confirm you are the person named on that booking or have the authority to act on behalf of that person.
We retrieve prices from third-party sources (including Expedia, Hotels.com, Google Hotels, and others via APIs). Prices can change rapidly. We do not guarantee that any price we display will still be available when you visit the booking site.
Before cancelling your existing booking, always verify the alternative price directly on the third-party platform. We accept no liability for losses arising from a price changing between our check and your attempted rebook.
HotelMonitor participates in affiliate programmes operated by Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and other travel platforms. When you click a rebook link and complete a qualifying booking, we may earn a commission. This commission is paid by the booking platform and does not affect the price you pay.
Affiliate links are clearly used throughout our service. Our price alerts and comparisons are not influenced by commission rates — we always show you the lowest price we can find, regardless of which platform offers it.
HotelMonitor is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee:
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, HotelMonitor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: loss of savings from a price no longer being available, costs arising from cancelling a booking that was not actually cheaper elsewhere, or any other financial loss.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed zero, as the service is provided free of charge.
All content, design, and code on hotelmonitor.co.uk is owned by or licensed to HotelMonitor. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the site without written permission.
Our service contains links to third-party booking platforms. We have no control over the content or practices of those sites. Following a link to a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.
You may stop monitoring any booking at any time by clicking "Stop monitoring" on the dashboard or emailing us. We may suspend or terminate the service at any time without notice.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
