Review count is a blunt but honest signal: it tells you how many people have actually stayed and said something. A 9.2 from 40 reviews is a rounding error. An 8.6 from 3,000 is a pattern. Below are the ten New York hotels with the most guest reviews on Agoda right now, with what they cost tonight-ish and how they score.
How to read the prices. These are live Agoda rates for two guests, 23 Dec–25 Dec, captured on 24 October 2026. Agoda quotes before local taxes, and New York City adds roughly 14.75% plus a nightly occupancy charge, so your checkout total will be higher. Confirm the all-in price on Agoda before you book.

Times Square and Midtown dominate because that is where the big-box hotels are, and volume drives review counts. If you want quieter and cheaper, look at the Upper West Side and Brooklyn entries, which trade walking-distance-to-Broadway for space and value.

How we built this list
We queried Agoda's live inventory across five New York districts (Midtown, Lower Manhattan, Times Square, the Upper West Side and Brooklyn), removed duplicates, and sorted the 90 hotels that came back by guest review count. The ranking is the raw review count. We do not reorder it for commercial reasons.
One limit worth stating plainly: Agoda returns a capped set of hotels per district, so this is the most-reviewed of the 90 properties we can see, not a census of every hotel in New York. The page regenerates every morning, so prices and rankings move with the market.
Prices captured 24 October 2026 for 23 Dec–25 Dec, 2 guests, in GBP, before local taxes. Hotel prices change constantly; treat these as a snapshot, not a quote.
We earn a commission if you book through our links, at no extra cost to you. It does not affect the ranking above. Weather figures are long-run climate averages from Open-Meteo.
